In May 2000, a classified advertisement and

synchronicity brought Barb and Kim together. They

picked a public spot to meet for the first time and still

giggle about a sticky, grocery deli table where they

talked about their personal and professional goals;

both walking away with a knowing it was a

partnership that would last a lifetime. Since that first

meeting they have enjoyed the successes of a busy

medical practice management consulting business

while holding and nurturing the seed of a dream

planted the first day they met. On Christmas Eve

2007 Barb’s broken leg was the synchronistic event

that allowed the seed to sprout. With nothing to do,

but sit, dream, think and type the two hunched over laptops, creating a business plan

envisioning what lay ahead. They both knew it was time and together began to build their

dream and vision – a retreat where one’s well being is nurtured therefore creating

a lasting experience; carried forward to family, community and society
