Kim Schlais is a licensed Esthetician with advanced level training and NCEA (National Coalition of Esthetics Association) Certification. Kim has been working in the esthetic field since 2008 and medical field since 1997. Her experience includes managing, servicing and starting up medical and spa practices. She has owned Estetica Spa for over 12 years.
In addition to her over 20 year industry experience, she attends continuing education to keep current with industry trends and changes. Kim is currently licensed in Washington and Oregon State. She has trainied and/or holds certifications in Hydrafacial, Eyelash Extensions, Medium and Medical Grade Peels, Laser Skin and Hair, Ultrasound and Radio Frequency Skin and Body Services and many others.
In 2017 Kim entered the Washington State Esthetician Apprentice Program. This program allows Kim to teach, train and provide actual hands on experience for someone interested in becoming a Licensed Esthetician. At the end of the apprenticeship, which is 2000 hours, you will be able to test for your State licensure. There is no cost to the Apprentice. And, you are paid while in training! In general, esthetics schools will cost you between $13,000 and $25,000 to go through the program and obtain your license. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about skin care.
